In MS Access, when you use SendObject, you can select whether you want Access to send the email immediately or you can edit the email before it's sent. If you pick the edit feature, Access generates the email and leaves it open, as though you had created it yourself using only Outlook. Ideally, that...

SMTPSendMail: Edit Before Sending?
I am working on a distribution tool but the addresses of the people receiving the distribution need to be dynamic. Is it possible to use SMTPSendMail to generate the email but allow the user to edit it before sending? I would simply create an Input but I want users to be able to have the full functi...

Is there something missing from this line? Let>Attach_string= The final product should look like this, assuming I selected ApplicationName1 and ApplicationName2 in my list box. So that when I call it in my generated email I have all of the attachments in one string. Does that make sense? \\NetworkLo...

Ok, rummaging through the ListBox is a bit more in line with my limited expertise. I got what you sent me working but I have one more step to complete. My file structure/naming convention throughout is \\NetworkLocation\ApplicationName\Production\ApplicationNameInstall.zip. I want to use the \\Netwo...

Update: I am using the following to gather the list of folders and display them in a ListBox. Something along these lines will work, I just need a way to return the selected values and then cycle through them to fetch the appropriate attachments. Let>GFL_TYPE=1 GetFileList>\\rnodata01\scrub$\Live_Da...

Create Check Boxes Dynamically Based On File List
I maintain several databases and want to create a distribution tool which allows me to send out one or more installation files to my customers. I would like the tool to be dynamic so that I don't have to adjust whenever a database is created or retired. We use the same naming convention for each dat...

Run When Conflicts
I have a general question about how MacroScheduler handles scheduled jobs. If I have two jobs scheduled for the same time, will they both get run? Will this happen simultaneously or will one run and then the other?
Thanks,
Josh

Script Opens Target File, Then Says It Can't Find The File?
I have the following script which I use a desktop shortcut for an Access application. ExecuteFile>C:\Documents and Settings\%User_Name%\OA Change 2009\OA_Change_2009.accdb The database is definitely in the location outlined below. Not only did I double-check manually, the script actually opens the t...

Wait for a CopyFile to Finish?
Currently our installation files pull a copy of an Access database from a shared network location to the user's desktop. I have hardcoded a 120 second wait into the files (this accounts for file size and network traffic), however not all files need to wait this long and on rare occasions they need t...

Wait for an Access Macro to Finish
I have three different macros that I want to run, one immediately after the other from the same MacroScheduler script. Is this possible in 8.1?

Josh
