Me_again nice catch , thank you.
It seems that CA security is the first place I should be looking when I encounter problems of any kind.
I always end up there.

I installed macroscheduler trial in the default location. So I assume that when I run the compiler trial install from the download page it will be installed in the correct location. But when I press the compile button I get unable to locate. Then I tried to instead save the compiler trial from the d...

Does the compiler trial work with the trial version on macroscheduler 10?
I downloaded it and when I tried it I got a window that said it couldn't be located.

I was able to change the ip of the guest computers so that the all but the last octet matched. Then I was the able to run the macro using msnet. But the firewall is a huge problem. With no firewall on a host computer or it's guest computers (virtual) I can run a macro from different physical compute...

No the Ip isn't the same as the host .
I have 2 physical computers on a Lynksys router.
And the guest computers have these IPs

physical computer 1: 192.168.15.100
physical computer 2: 192.168.15.101
guest 1 (virtual comp): 192.168.131.65
guest 2 (virtual comp): 192.168.131.66

Msnet with Virtual PC

I am having trouble getting Msnet to work with a guest computer in Microsoft Virtual PC.

I turned off all firewalls and was unable to connect.

Has anyone ever attempted this ?
Is there an add in with Virtual PC that needs to be installed ?

Msnet

I installed msnet on my 2 home computers and ran the server setup on each.
I used the GUI to run a test macro , nothing happened.

Can msnet be used on a LAN ?

Yes thank I found the ServerTrialSetup.exe. Does the server setup needs to be run on just the computer receiving commands to run a macro or does it need to be run on both machines ? As far as your question on the router. I cannot answer that right now. I'm absolutely clueless on routers and networki...

Ok thank you I will try that. It is frustrating to learn that False works in a regular If statement but not in a complex If statement. Did I miss some small print in the help, is it in help? This inability to paste code with out it getting scrambled drives me nuts . Maybe taking a screenshot is bett...
