Connecting to Oracle through Macro

Post by winstein » Thu Mar 19, 2020 10:24 am

I am looking to connect to a client's Oracle database for information that are found in it, but I am not sure what is the best way to connect to Oracle.
- What is the best Driver to use for connecting to Oracle, and how to implement this Driver
- What is the format of the connection string that would be compatible with Macro's DB connection functions

Earlier, I installed an Oracle ODBC called "Oracle in instantclient_19_5" (64-bit), yet I was not able to connect to the client's DB with the information they provided.

Thank you for reading.
