Windows 10

Post by PepsiHog » Sat Aug 26, 2017 1:08 am

Hello Everyone,

Ok, so I just bought a new computer. It's awesome, except that it came with Windows. Oh well. So that is my question. I have Windows 10 and it has the Fkeys assigned to stupid stuff. So now when I try to program, and I use OnEvent to check for f2 being pressed, it opens some stupid window.(when the key is pressed) Microsoft seems to like to annoy people.

Does anyone know how to disable all these annoying stupid Microsoft (did I say annoying) fKey assignments? If so, please help me.

Don't get me wrong, Microsoft rocks sometimes......like when they made the 8086. Sorry I don't have a later example.

PepsiHog. Yep! I drink LOTS of Pepsi (still..in 2024) AND enjoy programming. (That's my little piece of heaven!)

Is this one of those function keys are the default vs the F keys etc.

I had a computer like that eg the surfaces were also like that you could change it in the settings.
