Site Upgrades
Apologies if you've noticed any weirdness around here lately. You may have noticed that the forum has changed appearance slightly. Over the last week or so we have moved server hosts and also upgraded everything to the very latest versions, including the OS, the web server software, PHP, the forum software and the blog. Everything seems to be working well as far as I can see but if you spot anything that isn't quite right please let me know.

Re: Site Upgrades
I cant see any of my previous posts to the forum? Have they moved this feature or is it gone now?

Click on Quick Links top left and select Your Posts. Or click on your profile name top right and then User Control Panel.

Re: Site Upgrades
I used to be able to view all the new discussions in a sub-forum by clicking the lower-right corner. Now it seems I have to return home to the sub-forum to view the next topic. Couldn't find a way to do it. Is there one?

Re: Site Upgrades
In the Quick Links drop down there is "View New Posts", "View Unanswered Posts" etc but no longer any subfora specific version. However, I think adding &fid=<forum id> to the URL will limit the search to that sub forum. To find out what the forum ID is hover over the forum name and you'll see &f=<something> in the URL. You need the something. I can look at adding these links back if it's a huge problem.

Re: Site Upgrades
Hi Marcus, I have noticed quite a few broken links recently, might be worth using a tool like XENU Link sleuth to find all the broken links, then 301 redirect each of the old URLs to the relevant new URL in .htaccess. Broken links are not great for user experience or the visibility of mjnet.com in search engines.
