Disabling Error Messages

Post by BlackWisdom » Wed May 10, 2006 8:16 am

Hi Guys

Im currently using Macro Scheduler 7.4.009 - (yeah I kow) I have a script that is constantly scanning all the drives. It is designed to suspend Autorun when it is detected. It works great, but when the user opens the CD tray the folllowing messages is generated:

---------------------------
Macro Scheduler: SuspendAutorun.exe - No Disk
---------------------------
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive D:.
---------------------------
Cancel Try Again Continue
---------------------------

Is there any way to disable the message so it wont be displayed...??

Hi,
You don't give any indication of how you're detecting the autorun. Altering your method of detection might prevent the messages from displaying.

Another thought: detect the messages and answer them for the user.

Good luck,
Dick
