Default Script Directory

Post by tony_smith » Wed Nov 21, 2007 10:10 pm

Does anyone know where MSched looks for the default data (Script) Directory? A newby techie did some maintenance on the server that holds MSched and the script files. The maintenance was successful in wiping out many settings and messing up group policies. Most of this we have repaired, but we ended up with the MSched screen lacking any script records. An attempt to restore these into MS did not work. When I try to remap the directory, or to pull in the files and macros.dat, MS tries to put the files in the directory previously wrongly set in the group policy. Is there a way to fix this?

And I should mention... If I try to create a new macro, I receive the error "cannot find comdef.ini..." and if I try to import and save a macro, MS tries to save it in the previously wrongly set directory.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
