Application used to work with Image Recognition not visible

Post by montanan » Fri Apr 05, 2013 12:56 am

I have an application that has been working well with Image Recognition on a Win8 machine.

I have been using Macro Scheduler 13.

Recently, that one app no long allows Macro Scheduler to interact with the screen, even though Macro Scheduler returns a positive result for image found. Nothing can get clicked on, not even menu items such as the Edit menu.

I then tried an even simpler test and with a Set Focus on the app and executing the following commands...

Press>ALT
Send>e
Release>ALT

... to see if Macro Scheduler could even interact with the menus.

It could not.

Have any others run into this?

Is the app running as admin? If so Macro Scheduler will also need to run as admin to interact with it.

Maybe it used to run non-elevated and is now running as admin or vice versa.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?

Thank you for this suggestion. I will test it out and make sure both run as Admin today.

The issue is now resolved. I am running both the target application and Macro Scheduler as Administrator.

Thank you for your assistance!
