Setting The Browser Binary With CHROMEDRIVER_OPTIONS

Post by NickD » Wed Oct 14, 2020 2:26 pm

Marcus recently informed me that we can now set ChromeDriver to use a specific profile via:

Code: Select all

Let>CHROMEDRIVER_OPTIONS=--user-data-dir=/path/to/existing/profile
I would really like to be able to control other chromium based drivers with Macro Scheduler. Does anyone know if it is possible to:

a: Set a binary with ChromeDriver CLI flags.

or:

b: Interact with an existing ChromeDriver browser session?

I can launch the required browser with Selenium / ChromeDriver using Python, and export the session_id, but when I try to take over the session with MacroScheduler and use ChromeNavigate, nothing happens.

Hi,

I've put this on my list to investigate. I suspect we'll need to add a Let>CHROMEDRIVER_BINARY flag or something like that.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
