Does the compiler trial work with the trial version on macroscheduler 10?
I downloaded it and when I tried it I got a window that said it couldn't be located.

Yes, it does.
Make sure you install it into the Macro Scheduler program folder. Same program folder as the Macro Scheduler trial is installed into. Then restart Macro Scheduler.

I installed macroscheduler trial in the default location.
So I assume that when I run the compiler trial install from the download page it will be installed in the correct location.
But when I press the compile button I get unable to locate.
Then I tried to instead save the compiler trial from the download page to the macroscheduler folder and it saves as an EFW(?) file.
So I double clicked on that and I don't know what that did but when I hit the compile button I get the same thing...can't be found.

I have no idea what an EFW file is. I suggest you try downloading again. Something, somewhere, is corrupt.

The compiler only needs one file in the install directory:
"msrt.exe"
So if you installed Macro Scheduler in "C:\Program Files\Macro Scheduler", you'll need to made sure "msrt.exe" (the file that's installed when you install the compiler) is in that same directory.
You can just copy it to your install directory, doesn't need an install really.
