copy and paste problem

Post by snapper1969 » Mon Jun 23, 2014 12:25 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to copy and paste to the editor but it doesn't seem to work. I select what I want to paste, go into the editor and paste but nothing appears. Can anybody advise??. I'm on windows 8.1

Thx,

John

What software are you copying from?

What happens if you do exactly the same steps but instead of the editor you paste into notepad?

Are you picking Copy and paste from the software menus or are you using ctrl + c and ctrl + v?

Hi,
I have tried copying and pasting using
ctrl C and V as well as the normal copy and paste. I've tried copying from any other software to MS but it doesn't do it. If I copy and paste to anotherprogram it works fine!!.

Thx,

John

Bizarre.

I assume this is something new. You've been using Macro Scheduler for quite a while. Did you recently update Macro Scheduler and then this started happening? Did you install some other software then this started happening?

Have you rebooted? Have you reinstalled Macro Scheduler?

Can you copy and paste within Macro Scheduler? Or can you copy from Macro Scheduler and paste to other software?

Odd. I'm on Windows 8.1 here. Using the latest Macro Scheduler. No issues. Somewhat rely on copy and paste as most of us do, so would notice.

Does the problem persist after restarting Macro Scheduler or rebooting?

Could you by any chance have a macro assigned to a hot key like ctrl-c or ctrl-v, or maybe have run a script that presses ctrl, alt, shift and haven't released them or something like that?

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
