Hi All,
First time on the board and I am thrilled to be diving into Macro Scheduler with all of the new functionality. Quick question about automating websites and scraping, etc.
It appears that there are many ways to automate websites now:
1) WebRecorder (with embedded IE)
2) Chrome
3) Edge
Is there a "best" way to go about automating a site or is it strictly preference. I just gave webrecorder a quick try but the target website behaved erratically when run in Macro Scheduler. I tried the Chrome route before and kept getting website not found errors.
Just wondering if I can get some direction on the best route to start down.
Thank you,
Marvin

Re: WebRecorder or Chrome or Edge
There's no such thing as 'best'. That's subjective. There are all kinds of reasons why one person would use one method and someone else would use another. From what the website supports, to what the developer is comfortable with and a million things in between.
