How to turn off autologon ...do I just turn off service?
I need to turn off the autologon feature that I install on PC years back. Does turning off the Macro Scheduler Service achieve this? ...or does it control more than autologon?
Thanks,

I've never used AutoLogon but isn't just a checkbox? If you look at the "Tools" then "Options" pulldown from the Main Menu, There is a checkbox that says something like "Enable AutoLogon..."

There is a checkbox.... I do not have it checked.... but my logon screen is still defaulting to the macro logon user.

I'd check it
Exit out of Macro Scheduler
Restart Macro Scheduler
Uncheck it
Exit
Restart
and see if it made a difference.
Its most likely a registry setting and Its possible that when you've installed updates the update process didn't look at the registry to see whether or not the box should be checked.

I went through these steps... did not remove. Good suggestion though!

Waited a day and no one with an answer... So I'll make another guess.
Find every script that has Autologon enabled and turn it off. Perhaps then the "Tools/Options/Enable AutoLogon..." checkbox will function to remove the service.

If you want to fully uninstall AutoLogon go to the Macro Scheduler program folder and run uninstall_autologon.bat

Have added this to the Knowledgebase.
Yes, we have a Custom Scripting Service. Message me or go here

What if the uninstall does not work? My machine is a VM and this user will sometimes stop me from being able to remote into my machine. I have to go into the VM environment and reboot the VM.
