Windows Security Warning at Start-Up
At Windows XP Start-Up I get the security warning "msched.exe: unknown publisher" which means probably that this software has not been certified by Microsoft. I have no problem with that but I would like this message not to appear. Is there a way under Windows XP to avoid the message without jeopardizing security?
That's odd because I thought that once you have OKd the message after installing and running the first time you won't get it again. Certainly we don't get this error on startup and we're also using XP SP2.
In any case we are currently working on getting a certificate and signing future versions to avoid such warnings altogether. Of course this means shipping another sack load of dollars to Mr Gates. What will they think of next to get us developers having to cough up more money!?
