"Spacebar" command-syntax

Post by floridafraze » Wed Sep 21, 2005 1:52 pm

Looking for way to command: "ALT-Spacebar" in order to display the System Menu for the active window on a Win2000 system.

Do not see it listed in the command list. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Please also email directly if possible. Thank you.

Hi,

Space is a character. Not a special key. So you use the Send Character/Text command:

Press ALT
Send>
Release ALT

Send Character/Text is commonly abbreviated to Send.

There's a space at the end of the second line. There's a space in this:

Send>Hello World

6th character is a space. You want ctrl-c you do:

Press CTRL
Send>c
Release CTRL

So you want ALT-space you do:

Press CTRL
Send>
Release CTRL

Space at end of Send line.
